FDA-Compliant, Detectable-Grade Materials
We machine unfilled and glass-filled PEEK and PEK — high-strength, chemically resistant, FDA food-contact-compliant thermoplastics suitable for sterilization and service up to 480°F. The principal polymers used in food and pharma applications include POM, HDPE, UHMW, PEEK, PPS, and sulfone polymers in FDA, USDA, and 3A Dairy-compliant grades.
Detectable blue grades — identifiable by visual, metal, and X-ray detection — are available to support food-safety programs.
Applications
Bushings, cams, bearings, and rollers; guide rails; feed and timing screws; star wheels, gears, and sprockets; dispensing heads and nozzles; seats, seals, and gaskets; conveyor parts; and machine guards.
