MWDT provides critical CNC-machined parts for geothermal energy — high-value tools that must withstand extreme subsurface conditions. We machine high-strength, corrosion-resistant alloys such as Inconel 718, 316L, and 17-4 stainless steel to endure temperatures up to 700°F and high pressures.
Downhole, Turbine & Generator Components
Downhole tools such as packers and plugs (including retrievable packer systems that replace traditional rubber or plastic components), turbine components (blades, impellers, shafts), and heat exchangers — produced to very tight tolerances for enhanced geothermal systems (EGS).
Advanced High-Performance Fluoropolymer (AHPF)
For seals in steam and harsh chemical environments at elevated temperatures, MWDT developed an advanced high-performance fluoropolymer composite — the ultimate chemical-resistant, low-modulus material for aggressive service:
- Maintains tight seals at 650°F (343°C) and 1–10 KSI; continuous use to 675°F (357°C)
- High compressive strength with minimal cold flow and gap extrusion
- Universal chemical resistance to strong acids, alkalis, hydrocarbons, fuels, and well-bore fluids
- Higher creep resistance and lower thermal expansion than PTFE, PFA, and ECA-3000
