PEEK, PEK & PEKK
Our family of PEEK compounds provides high-temperature performance and outstanding mechanical and electrical properties in chemically hostile environments — from unfilled 100% virgin resin to 30% glass-fiber, specialty glass-filled, 30% carbon-fiber, and graphite/PTFE-lubricated grades. PEK and PEKK are also available on request.
PAI, PPS & Polyimide
PAI (Poly-Amide-Imide)
Exceptional thermal stability, flexibility, and toughness — with bearing grades (graphite/PTFE) for high-load, low-speed and high-speed wear applications.
PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide)
Excellent chemical and electrical performance — base, 40% glass-reinforced, glass/PTFE, glass/mineral, and graphite/PTFE-lubricated grades.
Polyimide (PI)
Graphite- and PTFE-lubricated grades offering the lowest coefficient of friction for cryogenic-to-600°F service.
PFAS-Free POK
As many industries move to eliminate PFAS, MWDT offers Alpha-Olefin Polyketone (POK) — an FDA-approved, PFAS-free, low-wear material for friction applications up to 300°F. Our proprietary POK-HBN compound (with hexagonal Boron Nitride lubricant) delivers low break-away torque, filling the performance gap between Acetal and PEEK and replacing PTFE/PFA seals in food, beverage, and oil & gas service.
